“'Frenzied' would be the one and only way to explain the atmosphere at tonight's match. The fans were in an uproar from beginning to end. A riot broke out at the beginning of the match that left many players on both teams dazed. Later some unruly attendants hurled rocks from the stands and caused further damage. The fans seemed hungry for blood as the dwarves were sent to the bench time and again.

The match itself was a wild one indeed. A back and forth battle, exciting turn by turn. The teams duked it out, trading blows the whole time. The dwarves got a second wind when Sar Greatbullion smashed in the head of an frenzied Norseman who had to be carried off the field. A few turns later Greatbullion again sent an opponent off where we were later told that both Norsemen had died from their injuries.

The game looked bleak for the Hammers with time winding down in the first half. A bobbled ball left them in scoring position which they capitalized on to tie. Near the end of the game Holef Forgecutter scrambled deep near the endzone with no one around. A long bomb pass landed near him with seconds left before he scooped it up and dove across the end zone as time expired, tying the game with his second TD of the day.
