Plucky flings take on killer orcs - but it is only an orc who dies.
The rain is teeming down at kick off, the Sammiches opting to receive. Tusk the troll gets knocked out but the ball is too slippy for a rookie halfling to grasp it. When the 2nd attempt fails too, emerging star orc blitzer Aztec closing in, legendary 'fling Bob Beserkling gives up waiting for his TTM attempt and sweeps back - but drops the ball too! The extra agile super star lineorc Hothammer grasps it at the first attempt to take the early lead.
Take 2 for the Sammiches and the orcs close in once more. Bob unloads to a team mate, and Thor crushes the rookie halfling under his fists. The ball bounces into Bob's hands and the crowd gasps! He runs through Deeproot Strongbranch's legs and the star tree scoops up the legendary 'fling and throws him downfield. The crowd comes to life with a deafening cheer!
He's not quite there yet and, with the referee poised to blow for half time, Bob needs Deeproot's help again. The tree stomps forward, and reaches Bob, but was too tired to throw him (client bug, as Kam explains).
The setback sends the Sammiches into Kamikaze mode. Bob is thrown over at the start of the 2nd half and blitzes Hothammer who has the ball - the lineorc manages to wrestle Bob down. Super star fouler Deuces licks his chops and runs in to hurt the legend 'fling (patched up) and it looks bleak for the Sammiches now. Soon the ball is in Aztec's hands and it is 2-0 and a mountain to climb for the plucky Halfings. What tiny glimmer of hope is left is snatched away by Nuffle as Will Oakheart fumbles Bob Berserkling.
They came, they tried, but they were just too squishy in the end. The 'Saws march on to the final!”
