“All hail the Pangalactic Gargleblasters!
And all hail the fabolous people who support them, without whom we never would have won such a glorious victory!
Already at the start of the first half, it was obvious that the Raiders weren´t too keen on playing such an underdog as us. With four of their starters out running errands, the field was left wide open for the beastmen of Nurgle to roam. And sure enough, the ´Blasters took the lead as Zem picked up a fumble from the Raiders passer, and charged into the End Zone.
As the teams regrouped for the following kickoff, all the Raiders had finally made it to the pitch. Just as the terrifying horde of Raiders started moving upfield, the trusty fans of ol´ Blasters (yes, both of them) stormed the field in order to delay the game, keeping the players alive in to the second half. You could see the frustration in their eyes as the Raiders headed for the lockers at half time.
With all their focus on grabbing and pounding the first opponent they could get their hands on, the Raiders were left snoozing on the scrimmage line as "los Galacticos" quickly snapped the ball and launched an attack on the wing, clearly an effort to keep away from the brutal trinity of the opposing central defense. The charge came to a halt halfway down the field, as the Raiders regrouped to meet the attackers. Just as the defenders seemed to pin the ´Blasters to the ground, Oblook, the Raiders Ogre, left his post midfield to rush out to kick Hotblack, who already was left for dead by his other teammates and opponents.
This leaving only Lillgrodan between the ballcarrier and the End Zone, the poor coward of a goblin paniced, running away from his opponents, thus tripping over and getting injured. Ford Prefect with the ball, looked up and saw to his suprise a clear path downfield, and made the rush for 2-0.
As the teams again met up at the scrimmage line, the trusty fans of the ´Blasters, desperate for a win, again stormed the pitch to keep the game halted for the remaining part of the half.
All in all, a great team effort, where both the players and the fans played a big part in this glorious victory. Go, ´Blasters!”
