“Naverak could hear the frenzied sounds and the chanting of the Skavens as they scrambled into the stadium; warped, twisted, vile creatures, each one eagerly awaiting the beginning of this match. They have speed, agility, and the fans, all on their side. What they didn't have though, was a plan. And Naverak's plan was a doozy of a plan, even it its simplicity: Smash these rats into oblivion.

The kick was up and off, heading towards the receiving rats, and that was about the time the rats making up the majority of the crowd invaded the field. As the dust settled, revealing three members of the Damned laying face down on the pitch, their rat ogre put its fist clean through the armor of the journeyman who had signed on with us for today's match. He was dead long before his body ever hit the ground. We began attacking their most dangerous players, the gutter runners, and made attempts to put distance between us and that rat ogre, but it continued to smash its way into, and through, the team. When their passer finally fumbled a pass attempt, we saw our opening to enact the plan. Trent Lynch leveled a savage blitz on one of the gutter runners, killing the rat outright, as we sprang forward in an attempt to recover the loose ball. But they recovered the ball, pressing forward to midfield. Out of no where Trent once again appeared, with another much needed blitz, knocking the thrower carrying the ball into the pitch, and recovering the ball himself. As Trent dodged away, making a break for the endzone, he was stopped by a lone rat linemen, who set the ball free. A few more hits, a bobbled pass, and a failed dodge, and the first half was over, 0 to 0.

As the ball came down we set forth to make our way to the endzone, knocking some rats out, as Trent secured another casualty, seriously injuring a player. With an erroneous block thrown by the rat ogre, we were almost to the goal line. A few hits and we celebrated our first touchdown. After the kick-off to the skaven team, a series of bad blocks left the ball exposed, allowing Remy across the line of scrimmage and to get a hand on the ball, giving us another good opportunity to put this match out of reach. We were within yards of the goal line, but that same skaven thrower came in and blitzed Remy down, and managed to pick the ball up. Remy decided that the best thing to do was to stand right back up and blitz the thrower back, sort of as a 'thank you.' The loose ball bounced into the awaiting arms of Simon Evens, who was standing patiently in the endzone. 2-0, us.

The last few turns just saw the skaven team's luck completely leave them, as another series of bad rolls took hold. Not a very pretty sight. The clicking and thrashing sounds of the disappointed fans was deafening. But the Damned manage another victory, and move forward to their next opponent.
