Ryld played a great game, as always.
Kicking first put us at a disadvantage, and we couldn't roll our way out of it–– while the Slaves pulled a cas on almost every block, our blitzes rolled too many pushes, and our pows couldn't cause injury: not so much as a KO in the first 7 turns. Although we got some nasty hits in later, most of our casualties came when the game was already decided.
Cost us a fine ball-handler, one of the most unique players in the leeg, I think. He was also the last surviving member of the original line-up.
However, we owed this to Ryld..... FOR SMASHING HIS FACE BEFORE!! BOOYAH!!!
Rematch anytime!”
