“XFL VIII Darkelf Game 1

I got lucky this game and I played rather poorly.

The game started with sweltering heat. I got blitz! but did crap with it as the ball landed in a spot I couldn't do much with. I hurt Roxanna and by turn 3 was up two players. But Zoliak scored that turn.

I got the ball and Zoliak used his wizard when I caged in the middle. It failed with no one knocked down. I then went up the side and scored on the 6th turn.

The weather turned to normal and Zoliak setup two men downfield. I knocked down the witch but that was dumb because she had jump up. Also I didn't send anyone down field to try my own score. Luckily he was out of rerolls and skulled out.

I got the ball the second half and tried going up the middle of the field. I sat around looking for break but couldn't find one. By turn 5 I only had 7 players left on the field as I kept getting KO'ed. On turn 7 I sent one guy downfield for the ball. Luckily neither my thrower or catcher was knocked down and I was able to dodge free for a TD pass. 2-1 Victory lucky as I was down players looking at a possible OT.”
