“Wow what a mess.
The final of the Black Box Brawl LXIV was an exciting one that went into overtime.

I won the toss but elected to kick. The weather was a blizzard. In turn 3 I put some pressure on the cage after BH one of his ST4 guys whom he used the apoth on. After failing a dodge he elected to use his wizard which was suprisingly effective taking out 3 of my 4 players targeted including BH 2 of them. However I was able to recover the ball and toss it to my kicker who was in scoring position but he dropped the ball. After surrounding my men my AG5 lino nearly scored but failed his GFI in the snow. Jiger recovered and drove down the field for a score. It ended 1-0 at half with my 8 players vs his 11. The only thing good about that half was that he already used his wizard.

On the first turn of the second half I killed one of his blitzers. On the second turn with the ball on the ground I picked it up and tried to cage. Luckily he skulled a -2d block. I drove down the field and scored on turn 4 after killing another one of his blitzers and niggling a blodge lino. The weather turned to normal. He drove down the field but failed a GFI. I grabbed the ball and tried to throw a long bomb but failed. That was a bad play I should have just held the ball and waited for a better chance. He recovered the ball and tossed it for a nearly unstoppable TD. I chainpushed a guy into blitz and without a reroll was able to knockdown his ball carrier. He almost scored but he also failed a GFI while BH himself. 1-1 OT.

I was lucky and got the kick for the OT. However in turn 1 I was knocked down. In turn 2 I recovered the ball. He one dice blitzed my ball carrier and knocked him down again. I failed to pick up the ball in my turn. He recovered the ball in his turn and was in good position. However I got lucky with a leap to knock him down and recover the ball. This time his block resulted in pushes and I was able to leap myself to safety. However his witch pulled off an amazing blitz nearly knocking me down. But next turn my wardancer went all bashy and killed the witch. In turn 7 I BH that st4 wrestler again and handed off to my wardancer to skill him up. 2-1 very close OT victory. ”
