“Received the opening kickoff and took my time scoring, waiting for an opening to advance. It finally came and I scored in my turn 7, giving him 2 turns to attempt to score. He concentrated instead on knocking down/fouling my Mummies..KO'd one in fact--and he didn't recover from it.

2nd half, I kicked off and the ball went deep. The Amazons feinted to the bottom (from my perspective) of the screen, and I pretty much over committed there, but did have a ghoul deep in his backfield on the 'top' of the pitch. He attempted a short pass (or a quick pass in a TZ..either way it was a 4+) to try to take advantage of my over commitment to the other side, but he fumbled the ball. I was able to get it out of any TZ's and pick it up with the Ghoul in the backfield and run deep (2gfi's). Next turn I was able to get a couple of protectors deep while bottling the Amazons up at the LOS. I delayed one turn (sorta..the 3db was push,push, both down..and I took the both down..stunning the amazon while the mummy was just prone). next turn I moved to keep the boottled up, and then a quick pass to the other ghoul (for the skill) got the 2nd TD on turn 4. I didn't really contest his score, which he got in on turn 8. I did a turn of blocking and failed a pass to end the game.

Gary gets block, as does Greased Swine (the 1st lineman type to get a skill is one I raised in a previous game)

no casualties on either side..several KO's and each team had one guy thrown out.
