After a very poor start, somehow I achieved to block the caged ball carrier and get a grip on the ball. After tripping due to the not-so-sure feet failure, the dwarves failed to pick up and, burning my last RR I was able to pass to a lonely blitzer out of dwarf reach and achieved to score in turn 7.
The game could have been different if the riot would have allowed the dwarves getting the tie before half. It was a lonely 2+ roll after a poor defence on the ball carrie... but the dwarves failed.
That meant an opening drive with the frogs receiving in the second half. With standar procedure, the frogs scored again in T2.
Enough time for trying to force the overtime if enough frogs were wounded in the process. But a re-rolled both-down changed to skull in the blitz after the score which let the frogs attack the ball again and scored for 3-0 lead (after the slayer ball carrier failed a dodge into death... apo unable to do anything for him)
The frogs let the passage half-open for the 3-1 final result to try to avoid damaging blocks...
All in all, I would say the average dwarf rolling was good, but the moment in which it was not the case, specially the rr to double skull or the SH failure in the first half that allowed frogs to take the lead, were very important ones and this led to the final result.
Frogs apo was not called upon, letting Aashif to rest in the next (and probably final round for the frogs) of this tournamente ;)”
