“In true Plebeians style we started off badly but somehow turned things around and 2 Norsemen were left on the turf when the dust settled.

Dodo's BFF have a couple of fearsome Beserkers and one of them, Wuckong, bashed and piled on Nikolai to retire him from Bloodbowl at the start. Shaky took the ball on a flank while fights broke out across the pitch. Mucker "The Beast" was ganged up on in the middle as the other Norse passed by. Wilhelmer though managed to dodge from a crowd and bring down Shaky. For this audacity Invader ko'd him. Wilhelmer was the 3rd Averheim player put in the ko box (4th taken off in all) and it was barely halfway through the first half! Jesiah did at least take out Wuckong which was well needed. Paulus got badly hurt by the crowd as he recklessly tried to defend and the Norse looked in control. But as Mucker ploughed his way next to the carrier then Gevehard charged around players and smashed down Shaky. Wuckiwuck was sent rolling into the crowd and was killed! After a crowd throw Jesiah retrieved the ball. Though he was knocked down and Teebo picked up the ball the Norseman tripped in the endzone and the td attempt failed. We had made it to half time.
2nd half it was 8 v 11 and Jesiah scooped up the ball moving in to the middle. Alas Mucker stood dumb and after being pushed around an Ulfwerener brought down the thrower and Sukram caught the loose ball. But he remained next to Jesiah who promptly got up and socked it to him. Wilhelmus went near the ball and the Norse proceeded to try and get him out of the way but he just laughed as he sidestepped their attempts and nudged the ball along in front of him. Then he picked up, a chance to score, but then fell as a hand grabbed him. He was stunned and suddenly our hassling seemed all for naught. But as with the first half Gevehard was there with a rescue blitz. As an Ulfwerener was surprisingly taken down Wilhelmus saw he had another chance and took the ball, followed by Gevehard. He shrugged off Hopp's challenge, dodged away and ran over to the endzone for a glorious score.
There were still some moments left where Dodo and Mucker collided heads and then Gevehard "The Woodcutter" unleashed a fatal blow on Fastfield. Shaky tried a pass which didn't come off and we did our best to crowd the ball. He still got the ball back somehow but yet again it was the catcher that let him down in the crucial moment. An action packed game and we just win out! The crowd were happy after the opposing coaches criticisms of human sides.
