“Black Box Brawl LXVI Round 2:

So far my luckiest win with these elves.

I came into the game missing 2 players putting me on a 12 vs 12 matchup.

I decided to kick off.

Mr Nomad took control of the ball. I setup to try and push his st4 tackler off the pitch but I powed instead. My second turn on my first action I double skulled. Thanks to a lucky trip on turn 5 I was able to put a 2 die block on his ball carrier but didn't knock him down. I tried a one die block next turn but skulled out. After that he scored easily. 1-0 half.

For the second half it was a 10 on 8 matchup. I sent a couple rookies downfield and setup of the rest of my men in the middle. Second turn I went up the sideline. Third turn I tried to set up a crowd push again on his st4 tackler but it didn't work but I did manage to stun him. Turn 4 I switched sidelines with my ball carrier. Turn 5 I went back to the other sideline with my ball carrier stalling another turn. Turn 6 I got really unlucky and on my first action rolled snakes as I was moving to score. Thinking the game was over I setup to try to annoy his cage. On turn 8 I 2+ dodged, then 2+ dodged, then 5+ dodged into the cage and rolled a pow to knock his carrier down. Then the ball landed outside the cage in two tackle zones. My catchers who were prone on the goal line got up. One lined up to catch the ball. The other 4+ picked up the ball, 2+ dodged, 2+ passed and finally 2+ catch. Tying the game with an overtime to play.

I ended up getting lucky enough to get the kick for overtime. However, I only had 4 players left vs his 10. I blocked and dodged with two players one setting up deep the other marking his tackler. My passer got the ball and 3+ passed it to my catcher who caught it and ran to the sideline. Next turn he didn't get knocked down. He then one dice pushed his way forward and dodged for the game winning TD! ”
