“In this game I broke some personal records. I caused 9 cas which was 2 more than my previous high vs some halflings. I earned 41 SPP which was 3 more than I earned vs the same halflings. My tree, a wardancer, and my catcher all earned more SPP's than in any previous game.
This helped me get sidestep for a better OTT catcher and wrestle for my wardancer to cage break better.
Now to the game:
I got to take a wizard.
I decided to kick. He BH my loner. I was surprised after he knocked down my tree that he didn't foul him. On my first turn I BH his DP. The next turn he KO'ed my wardancer with stripball. However he didn't get the ball to his legend which he thought was a mistake since I no longer had stripball on the field. On turn 3 I captured the ball but forgot to move my tree to make it harder for him to block me. So he got the ball back. I got lucky on a 2 die hit and powed him to recover the ball. I then sent my SH guy next to my tree to help protect him. After a couple blocks he was not knocked down. The next turn was killer. My tree, wardancer, and a lino all BH 3 of his thralls. Also I was able pass the ball to my unmarkable catcher. Next turn I scored. On turn 7 he sent his uber vamp downfield to score but forgot about my wizard. I was able to bolt him down. Without a rr I was able to capture the ball and toss it to my catcher who scored again on turn 8. 2-0 half.
For the second half I was up a player to start. On my first turn a lino and my tree BH two more thralls. I failed a pass ending my turn. Azyx recovered the ball but his ST6 ballcarrier was open to blocks. However I didn't knock him down. His next turn he tried to block his way out but a bug kept him from doing it and instead he snaked a dodge and fell. The next turn my wardancers went to work and BH 3 more of his players. This resulted in 9 cas in a matter of 11 turns. The last 6 turns (riot) were rather boring as I was able to score with my wardancer twice. I also attempted to clear the pitch but could not leaving 1 player on the field. However the crowd decided they wanted to see more blood and killed the guy I couldn't get off the field with a rock. 4-0
Lucky dice for me. Hope for a closer game next time.”
