After playing weeks of matches against CR168+ coaches, never lost a good player. 20 games against vicious Nurgle/Chaos–– not lost a player OR a game.
Then–– this dwarf team. Mauls us so badly that we will certainly never recover.
Turn 1, Troll-Slayer stands up, passes a 3+ Dauntless, and 1-die Pows Wolf-Tamer (who had gotten 14 SPP last game in search of a new skill), rolls 10, 11, RIP, Apo-RIP. Not so bad!
The Keeper, crowd-surfed on turn 15 by the same Slayer. A Krox like that comes along once in a great, great, while, and I've been extremely lucky to have had 2. (My opponent's remark upon killing him: 'I've seen worse'. Hilarity.)
It's been a blast with this team. Puts them in a weird place now, because while they're definitely past their prime, and I don't like playing teams that spiral into self-destruction, I can't retire them quite yet (not with such good players remaining). On the other hand, TV didn't drop low enough that I can handle skilling up a new Krox and Saurus well. I'll stick with them for a few more games, and see where they go.
crazy good bloodbowl.
