#7 Zunnak – Smashed Hip (-MA)
The match-up between the two orcish teams Scooby Flashing Team and Cutthroat Island Skulls started with perfect Blood Bowl weather. The Scoobys with a light fan advantage, therefore the Skulls with more luck at coin toss and kick-off. An offensive set-up and a Quick Snap allowed the Skulls to heavily attack the Scoobys' line of defense. Several defenders went down - but not out - on this first blow. But the Scoobys showed themselves unimpressed and formed an accurate defense. Somehow disencouraged, the Skulls formed a - really bad - cage. Really bad, because it lasted only one turn to bust it, causing a fumble.
An agile Goblin picked it up and ran to the Skulls' endzone. Seeing this happen in their own turn, the Skull player raged and started a fight with the Scooby players, that should last until turn 7. This forced the Skulls to bring their star player Bomber Dribblesnot for one turn (knowing, he won't be allowed to play in second half). After the 8 turns of 1st half, both teams had 4 players out and where unable to send 11 players to the pitch.

For the start of second half, the Scoobys launched heavy attack on the Skulls leading to shorttime death of a blitzer - he was later reanimated by the Skulls' apo - and an very open field. Nevertheless, the Skulls were able to blitz the receiver of an accurate pass leading to a fumble that was picked up by the Skulls' thrower. But the Scoobys put pressure on the thrower, leading to a failed dodge and therefore again a fumble. This was picked up by another Goblin and carried to the endzone for a touchdown. 2 - 0 after 3 turns of 2nd half (Skulls' view).
What followed will be remembered as "the Skulls' Great Comeback": The coach ordered almost all of his players to the LoS in hope of a Blitz - but this was to obvious and the Scoobys called a Perfect Defense, sending all their players to the LoS. But this again gave the opportunity to steamroll through the line and head for the endzone. Only necessary blocks were thrown, the other players just marked their opponents denying them to follow up the rushing blitzer. This forced Scooby's Goblins to dodge away from their opponents - twice successfully, failing for the third try. Two Goblins were not enough to stop the Skulls' blitzer who after blitzing one of them went for it and scored a 2-turn-touchdown... and still three to go.
Both teams decided to go all-offensive in the last turns, and only to encourage both teams efforts, some fans decided to heat up atmosphere by throwing a rock at Skulls' Center-BoB, opening a huge gap for the Scooby's offensive line. And they went for that gap... a bit too much, as they therefore had not enough players left to defend their ball carrying player. Again, a blitzer saw his chance for a sack and went for it, leading to another fumble. An early pick-up failed, giving the Scoobys the chance to form their defense again. But again, a dodge failed miserable, giving the Skulls another chance to pick-up and score. Again, the Skulls chose man-marking over blocking and some lucky dodges later, another blitzer was able to get into scoring range. The Scoobys had to go for all or nothing and sent their thrower, assisted by a Goblin to take down that blitzer. But again, Nuffle decided that the couragous Skulls were worthy of his support and the thrower went down while the blitzer remained on his feet. The Skulls did nothing more than blocking were it was necessary and went for the last minute touchdown for the result of 2 - 2.

What a funny, entertaining and intense game. I am still breathless :D
