“A good battle where we started out well with a couple of good hits but just as we were getting numbers up all the squigs went crazy and then Hardest Nutz had to rush the score. Crucially neither of our kos came back (lazy!) while 2 of the Pygmy side did including a Krox. Then we mounted a stern defence and blitzed down their carrier but a pickup and handoff in the final turn got them the equalizer just.
Second half we were down on numbers (after again doing comparitively badly with the kos) and Big King was ko'd when he took out a carrier. Nevertheless a squig took the carrier down and it again looked like we had done enough. But again a pickup (5+ no rr) was done by a pygmy and another last moment td! Another match where we are left bewildered at the result. Interesting match and Big King even allowed the rookie hopper the glory of the td.”
