I should have won.

Chef was superb - 5 of 6 stolen.

Blood lust was great for Tauro, probably saved his skin as much as anything as he rarely failed it. Instead he snaked pick ups and dodges.

I used the wizard way too early, the field being too congested and my players too spread out to recover the ball.

Even so, I managed to blitz the ball free later. I made the pick up and the pass... intercepted. This was the most expensive error and cost me victory as a punt or moving the target thrall first would have left Tauro completely exposed and likely set up 1-0 to me and changed the final score to 2-1.

It didn't help that my final blitz on the ball in the first half was rerolled to skulls.

Tauro managed to pressure me into scoring early and the sweltering heat left him short on players for his 2nd half drive. He failed no rolls on this drive, my gaze became useless as I failed almost every one, and despite the player advantage I could not work enough pressure on the ball. Good game, but I feel I should have won it.

Damn that interception. ;D

Given his lack of rerolls due to the chef and the number of snakes he hit in the 1st half, I suspect Tauro is feeling a bit lucky that he won.”
