Nice and friendly game. Vengence Squad started out with a rather quick touchdown, poisonous Witch Elf trela leaping clear and sprinting into my endzone, and thrower Serverus connecting with a long pass. Nothing I could do.
My first offensive drive started very slowly during turn 3, when the ball scattered deep into my half, and it took me one turn just to pick it up, not wanting to risk a pass. Threakall sent his players through to sweat me down, and it took some dwarven dodging and gfi:s to get out of that mess. Once I had secured a makeshift cage though, things eventually fell into place and I scored 1-1 in turn 8.

Second half came easier as the Dark Elves were a few players short, having taken several KO:s. I had no real trouble getting the ball where I wanted it, and eventually did 2-1 in turn 5.
The Vengence Squad prepared themselves to even the score, but there were just too few of them, and with perfect defence for me and Threakall out of rerolls, there wasn't much he could do. The ball ends up in my hands in turn 7, and after some rather amazing sprinting by blitzer Torgar Hammerstriker, he manages to score 3-1 in turn 8, with few Dark Elves close enough to stop him.

Threakall plays a nice, gentlemanly game, making a few mistakes, but also not having much luck this time around. One casualty each, out of which the RIP I inflicted was apoed. I also lucked out, as we got disconnected very soon after Threakall killed one of my slayers (with the apo failing) and then proceeded to roll a double pow on a 2db-my-choice blitz. Both of these events got erased in the loading, and Threakall had a somewhat unfortunate turn instead.

The Dwarven hero of the game was undoubtedly Torgar Hammerstriker, with two touchdowns and a casualty. He was elected most valuable player, and apparently this match was such intense training for him that he found himself significantly stronger afterwards.

Thanks for the game, Threakall.
