“The Sons were caught out by the aggression and speed of the Hammers from the initial kick off, rusty after a two week break. After conceding a defensive touchdown in two turns the Sons showed some metal and brawled their way to a turn seven touchdown. Two turns weren't enough for the Hammers to equalise.

The Hammers reiterated their statement of intent at the beginning of the second half with a gang foul killing Royd Rayge after kick off. Out numbered and with the Hammers firmly in control a daring blitz by rookie lineman Unda Depyle won the approval of Nuffle. An arm wrestle on the Hammers line decided the match.

The Sons were outplayed. They were poorly coached. But Nuffle loves them anyway.
