“It was turn five of first half, and things looked grim. Scolde Drat fell on his snout attempting to leap past the Chaos maniacs to knock the ball loose, leaving the rest of the team in much too close contact of the Warriors and Beastmen. We were one TD ahead, but were outnumbered, Week knocked out, no rerolls, and the Fearsome Chaos Team were well within scoring distance.

Somehow we held out! Creek spent the half lying down, squeeking loudly whenever a boot came near him calling the Ref's attention to the foul plays. Snatch did his part and kept the ballcarrier harassed, and Gray Seeker was always the threat of getting a loose ball thrown far away. We kept our lead when halftime came around, poured that Bloodweiser piss over our knocked out, and ate the scantily clad human breeders that came with the barrels. Creek and Week both got up and after a turn we not only had the ball under control, but were even numbers on the pitch. Numbers that turned more and more in our favor as the game went on!

Special mention to Firty Lizer, who played his first and last game for us, and Queeklys Nuffed who we'll see again once his arm is better.

And last but not least a salute to our worthy opponent Synapso who not only expressed hope that the Stormvermin would die fast (which they didn't), but seemed to put on a brave face through the amazing luck Nuffle bestowed upon us for most of the game.”
