“An interesting game, my first mirror match up. I was hopping the other team would not have a rat ogre giving me a bash advantage as I was a blitzer down. But this was not the case.
Thankfully Rattlerip took out the intimidating claw blitzer early in the game and continued to rack up the knock outs and casualties and knock out the opposing rat ogre several time. He's been keeping up with the gutter runners nicely in terms of star player points and got break tackle after the match (impressive considering he missed out on the teams second game, he's been averaging 3.33 casualties per match played).
Things learn't during the game: I need to watch out with for those follow up frenzy blocks when hitting other big guys as I ended up throwing a negative two die block, not a good thing. I also need to learn to save re-rolls for actions that cause turnovers and nothing else.
I'm sticking with block on the gutter runners for now as the rat ogre seems to be doing most of the blitzing so I would rather keep the runners upright and cause turnovers (unlike wrestle which doesn't cause turnovers and lies them down).
Fingers crossed the rat ogres next skill up will be a double, now that he's got break tackle I'm pretty sure I'll take pro on any double.”
