I hired a merc hobgoblin, likely for fouling. In the end it was needed to maintain numbers (albeit as one of the injured) as storm vermin Vask went hobgoblin hunting.
In constrast I could barely make a dent aside from an early gutter runner casualty - I guess, if you get one, get a good one. CroixFer might regret not deploying his apothecary as the extra legs would have probably won him the game.
