First, Warrior-Slayer permed the Vampire-Killer (purportedly destined for retirement). Since this player had been the bane of many a skink, we didn't shed too many tears for that one.
However, near the end of the first half, a desperate long-shot pass by a thrall succeeded, and threatened our whole game. Our only chance was to try our own desperate foul with a rookie saurus on the vampire Legend Debog–– who may, in fact, be the finest player in all of Blood Bowl, anywhere in the world.
Lo and behold, he rolls a 6, which (with 3 assists) gave him the exact amount needed to break armor, rolling a 10 for injury, and permanently injuring the undead champion forever (-AG).
Not every saurus gets to do such a boot on his debut match. Still, we're sorry that it had to be against such a fine player, instead of some clawPOMB scum.
Coach Azyx played well, and took the whole thing in stride, admirably never grumbling a discouraging word. He should be a role-model to most Black Box coaches.”
