“The Korsairs took advantage of all the dice early on, winning in casualties, and leaping in for a pow on the ballcarrier, which bounced right into the hands of an elf the next turn after the Disasters had already used their blitz. The Korsairs set up a screen for the ballcarrier and a failed leap ended the Disasters' turn early. The Korsairs took advantage of this, killing 1 and hurting another, but running up to get those meant that they could only stall one more turn. This forced the score and left the Disasters 2 turns to equalize, which they did.

The next half, the Korsairs got all their KOs back, but a foul on turn 8 along with the sweltering heat left them with only 7 players, losing 2 of their most vital players to the heat. The Korsairs start by casing another player, leaving it 7-8 on the field, but instead of keeping the ball back and planning on a pass, they run the ball up where they have no ability to secure it. The wrackle skaven pops the ball loose, which ends up in the hands of the ogre. A cas and KO that turn leave the elves with not much to do, but out of desperation they -2db the ogre twice, the second which knocks him down. Next turn they 1db the skaven who picked it up, taking him out of the match for the second time this game. After a failed Disaster pickup and a Failed elf leap, the Disasters are able to get the ball, handoff, and run next to the endzone, all but securing the win for the Disasters.

The final tally came up to 7 casualties for the elves, but it was unable to secure them the victory.”
