“A really good close game.

The humans looked to have the win in the bag in the final two turns... The Wood elves had used their RRs up and a Human Blitzer was one square away from scoring. The penultimate turn saw the Humans fail to knock over the only player that could really blitz the Human blitzer. This would prove very costly. Only a 2+ 2+ 2+ 5+ could knock the blitzer over. Sadly the Wood Elves managed this and also stunned the ball carrier who would have easily been able to pick the ball up easily the following turn otherwise. (it would have required a 2 dice blitz and a 2+ pick up only with RR).

However the humans still had a chance and a Catcher had a 4+ pick up and 3 + dodge to make sadly the pick up failed with a RR leaving the game tied.

Nevertheless the game was still fun and tense, and went right down to the final turn. Just a shame the luck went against us at the final hurdle.”
