#9 Ten Ton Saturday – Dead (RIP)
This match could have swung either way depending on if the Crunk's infamous luck could hold... which it did, superbly. First turn, Buffalo receiving, and Dareus fumbles the pickup with a wide-open lane for the Crunk to recover (with a load of GFIs, which they ace) and score. Never let that ball hit the ground or the elves are gonna have it. Chaos get mad, so they also get even with a foul that straight up destroys Saturday. Doc was so drunk on Cristal from the Crunk dressing room that he accidentally sawed the tree in half, thinking he was supposed to make a stretcher to haul out the wounded. After some fumbling about, the Billy Goats miss the critical pass to equalize on turn 8 and the Crunk set up to receive. After going up on a quick score (not without its share of close calls), Buffalo marches downfield and manages to put it in the endzone on turn 6. With two turns remaining and Perfect D for Buffalo, coach wintergreen decides to trust in the boys' luck and try for that third score rather than defending for a 2-1 match. They use their last RR busting through the Buffalo defensive line and set up a few receivers downfield. Buffalo gets up in Freeney's face, but he escapes and gets the ball to Luck for the last TD. Great match, Jeffro! Maybe we'll face off in the playoffs.

#3 Chris "Pretty" Hairston – Fractured Leg (MNG)
Well... Lemme start by saying it was all worth it just to make a decade's supply of toothpicks from Ten Ton Saturday. We had three goals, and met two of them.

Things we couldn't do: Pick up the ball on the opening kickoff with AG4 Surehands. Catch a hand off with AG5 and a reroll. Do anything but KO elves on the LOS (or anywhere else, for that matter...)

But we did chop that freakin' tree B) so you're welcome, league.

And we did have fun. Despite the fail, we felt like we had a chance to compete. Maybe we didn't "play" like it... but we felt like we had chances. So the fun and the tree... two of three ;)
