“1st round woc. up against a nasty team with a good coach. 2 pombers, 2 dirty players, a solid blitzer ball carrier and 4 black orc with block/mb, 2 with guard as well. to make things worse i had to receive the opening kickoff as synn elected to kick!

Fans helped out though, ko'ing a black orc with a well placed rock. this opened a blitz onto a pomber, followed by a gang foul to ko him! 11-9 up 1st turn, couldnt ask for much more.i kept pushing down the left, ko'ing another pomber and bh (apo) a black orc. in return timmy was ko'd to a foul. with synn blocking any further passage down the left, i switched to a midfield screen t6. t7 i got marked up pretty well, but 3 ag3 dodges later saw the ball well protected, and an ag4 dodge and 2d block later wendy ran in the opening td on t8!

second half and both orc pombers stayed ko'd, while timmy was happy to stay in the company of the bloodweiser babe.

and then things got crazy

. i almost had a 2-0 lead in the second half after my t2, where i started with an ogre block. this opened a path for mr hanky to make a 3+ dodge and 1d blitz on the ball which came up pow, followed by wendy going through the same hole and bombing the ball downfield near the orcs endzone. next turn i could only get a tz on the ball, which i thought was enough as only 1 orc could reach it. said superstar orc then made 2gfi, a dodge (with dodge skill) into the tz and pickup (sure hands) to thwart my defensive td! i fell back and managed to get a double screen up for the orcs t8, but a clever chain push left an easy opening for the o equaliser.

the orcs won the toss for o/t, which led to a pretty wild half with plenty of cas. both timmy and the orc pombers had finally woken up for it. t6 i got a 1d blitz on the ball carrier but came up skull, using my last reroll in the setup for it. t7 mr hanky slipped through the screen again, going for a 1d blitz to surf the orc ball carrier against the sidelines, only to roll both down! synn made all his blocks to clear the way and scored the winner.
