“A tough grinding game where both sides stared at each other and maneouvered into walls a few yards from each other shortly after the game started, neither side willing to expose a hole by making a thrust in the wrong place. Both teams were edgey after several hundred fans had poured onto the pitch and torn the referee to bits for no apparent reason.

The Hellbringers feinted one way, and then another. Eventually forcing a score with Bull Centaur Lzarkon over with about a third of the opening period remaining. The Bringers then played tough defence to stop the Death Rats from scoring. During this play, a Death Rat Wight was pushed into the crowd and promptly torn to pieces by the rabid crowd. Somehow, the bits that were brought back to the Rats' duggout came back to life and after the Wight's head was located, it was stuck back on and he was ready once again for action!

The second half saw the Death Rats penetrate on both sides of the Bringer's defence. The Bringers covered both wings, but it was not enough to stop the Rats from a quick score to even up the game.

At the next kickoff, several hundred Bringer fans stormed the pitch and killed the surprised replacement referee for not calling the Rats for a foul that wasn't there! The Bringers again did the formation dance with the Rats, before thrusting hard on the right, and pushing through with 3 players. Another Rat was pushed out of bounds (the third in all) and the undead team found they did not have enough players to chase down a rampant Bull Centaur named Tzorak who had the ball near their End Zone.

The Bringers delayed scoring the winning TD for a few moments as the game was almost over, then scored the sealer with just enough time for the Rats to possibly push downfield, but not equlalise.

A tough game for me as so many of the Rats had Block which is my main advantage! He also had a S4 Ghoul, and 3 other MA 7 players that I had to worry about. My Troll spent most of the game being stupid and that didn't help! Neither side fouled at all during the whole game despite the ref getting chewed twice LOL. Slurppa in his first game got the MVP to get himself an advance, and Tzorak has picked up his third advance.
