Wow. I did not expect to win that one. The orcs received, and played a classic bait-and-switch down the left flank, switching to wide out on the right, blitzing to score in the corner. A quick punch and a surprise foul opportunity early in the next drive saw both trolls removed from the pitch in quick succession. The rat broke down the right with a screening cover and some desperate defending couldn't prevent the touchdown.

As the third drive started, Chaos had the numbers advantage, but couldn't make it tell; the orcs broke right and only some slippery grass left the score tied at the break.

As the chaos pact received in the second half, the orcs defended well, and thanks to some shoddy blocking from their opponents, managed to sack the ball carrier and pull off an outrageous recovery to score.

Pact to receive again, and this time between the blinding sunshine and some early CAS, it looked grim for the Orcland boys. But, throwing caution to the wind, a breakout blitz from the orc thrower knocked over the goblin with the ball, spilling the ball into the crowd, who helpfully lobbed it clean over the scrum to the waiting feet of an orc blitzer on the far side. With the score at 2-1, all he needed was to hold onto possession and run out the clock.

I was totally convinced I could not prevent the score, and was looking at overtime, which, with depleted numbers, I would have lost. Just goes to show: never give up. A 5+ dodge (with reroll) followed by a 1D block saved the game.
