“Final Round of the BBB LXXIV.

Going into the match I thought I had decent chances to win, but Ignaz is a good coach and he was bringing two tacklers and two tentacles guys.

I decided to take the wizard and babes to help keep players on the pitch.

Ignaz decided to return the kickoff. He caged in the middle but in turn 2 he left his ball carrier open to a blitz after my st4 passer opened up a lane. I knocked the ball loose. Luckily his beast stayed down making the ball easier to get to as Ignaz failed a pickup. I was able to recover the ball on a 3+ pickup and dodge to safety. Next turn I BH one of his tacklers opening up a scoring lane. On turn 6 I scored. With his slow players, Ignaz wasn't a threat to score in two turns. However, he did end up BH three players in turn 8.

Going into the second half it was 9 on 11. I failed to pick up the ball in turn 1 and it made me scramble on turn 2 to get a decent formation. On turn 2 his st5 tent warrior got to my ballcarrier. It forced me to -2d block him out of the way. I set up on the sideline. However, his tent guy was able to mark me again. This time though he provided an escape route for me to 2d blitz a guy to follow-up out of the tentacle reach and I was able to 2GFI away from any remaining blitzes. I scored in turn 5. Unfortunately I kicked the ball out of bounds and Ignaz was able to setup deep in my territory. I used the wizard but it wasn't much help. Ignaz tried to blitz his way to a score but failed. He got lucky and recovered the ball in turn 7. But it was too late.
