“This one hurt. We took the ball to start with and got blocked off by a wall of Blodgy/Fend dorfs. Adrian Barb started to make our accustomed dent in the opposing numbers, but failed to knock down one turn and took a KO the next. After that, nothing went right the rest of the half. No POWs, no cas, a rash of KOs that left us way shortmanned, and a T8 defensive score.

We went 3/4 on KOs, but lacked our killer for the second half.

Despite that, we managed to trick the dwarfs into giving a touchback to a 28spp longbeard and eventually managed to puzzle-block our way to a loose ball with an AG4 pest and a clear field in front of him to force OT.

OT saw us kicking to the dorfs and another touchback (both of these happened with no Kick, aiming at the center square). We bottled up the dwarf advance and had Adrian Barb back, it looked promising. Then our BoN went dumb for the entire half and left a hole up the middle. We took a cas to a NW and got a couple dorfs off the pitch when they decided to make a break for it. We were left with a 2-dodge, 2-GFI blitz to surf the ball carrier which would have given us a great shot to take over the ball and win.

Failed the last GFI.
