An epic game that had everything. The fireball was wasted, but great human defense meant 0-0 at half time. Then just when it looked like things were opening up in the 2nd half, a black orc intercepted the pass! So back to defense, and again the humans held the play up enough to stop the score - with a triple skull rounding off the action before overtime.

Humans receiving, and going for the quick score. I made a dreadful error, and thought the thrower was intercepting on a 5+ - but of course ag3 intercept on a 6+ unmodified. So I made the 3+ throw instead of the 2+, and the throw was missed.

Orcs in control, but Assured Jim threw a spanner in the works as he dodged into the cage to sack the orc thrower. Sadly I got greedy and went that extra go for it - and he fell over. What ensued was a hilarious scrap for the ball, albeit just amongst the orcs as the ball got dropped and scattered and passes missed. Eventually a black orc caught it and a few nervy go for its later handed off to a blitzer for the winner right at the death.

Brilliant game! Annoyed to lose it though, especially given my error on the throw in overtime. Good luck in round 2 Fav!”
