“The match started of with Aberrations recieving. The kick was wide and close to the LOS and the elves managed to shift their defense towards the side with the ball.
A couple of lucky blocks and a blitz lead leveled a few of the elves and left a Chaos warrior some steps down the elves turf screening the right side of the field together with a couple of beastmen.
Unfortunately the beastman ballhandler had his eyes on the advancing elven blitzers instead of the ball and dropped it. The elves immediately punched through on the left wing but not quite far enough to reach the ball fast enough. Instead it was swiftly carried to the waiting Chaos warrior who lumbered down the right side of the elven half of the field leaving him out of reach of a blitz.
In the melee midtfield an eager beastman trampled an elven blitzer, leaving him winded and needing the medics services before he could play on.
The referee now aware of the growing tension between the two teams players spotted the expected elven retaliation boot to the head and sent the player off for the match.
In the end even the fast elves could not catch the Chaos warrior and the TD was secured.
On the following kick-off Abberations defended wide and high only to be surprised by the quick footwork of the elves again. Even as the whistle was sounded the elves sprang into action and knocked down the beastmen defending both the wide left and right wings and ran down the right side.
Abberations tried desperately to plug the hole only to leave the midtfield open for the elves who made a open cage there and threw the ball into the arms of the waiting blitzer.
Things were looking grim now, but there was a small hole for one of the Chaos warriors, he blitzed in filled with righteous fury and slammed the ballholder to the ground imploding his ribcage in the process. The elf died wheezing pitifully.
A bestman snatched the ball and ran it to a Chaos warrior further upfield who got the ball and speeded towards the elves endzone. At this point the elves coach decided to call it a day.
Thanks for the match Ispep and good luck.”
