The orcs receive and set up for a bashing attack, inching down the field: black orc against mummy, blitzer against wight. Still in a standoff at midfield on turn 4, the undead suffer a stroke of bad luck, tripping on a jump-up blitz go-for-it near the beginning of the defenders' turn. The Axes capitalize, getting the upper hand in the bash game on turn 5. On turn 6, the Orcs break through the line and reverse field from right to left, and the blitzers have enough speed to outpace the lumbering pursuit and finish up a turn 8 score.

The Shamblers get another terrible break on the 2nd half kickoff. Already down 2 players, the fans pelt the only undead player deep to receive with a rock, while the ball bounces to a stop far from any support deep and near the sideline. Even as the undead dominate the line of scrimmage, the orcish blitzers tear into the backfield and tie up the ball, scoop it up and score on turn 11.

On the third possession, the defending orcish blitzers get a bit overaggressive, and a nice getaway dodge by the ghoulish ballcarrier leads to a sideline break. Lucky for the orcish defense, blitzer Thrakha scrambles with a 1 die block to prevent the escape. The ball takes a few bounces friendly to the orcs who are able to follow up with a score.
