“New team Faerie Deluxe came into this one as underdogs but with some inducements and great persistence they made for a great match with Hellmouths.

Devil Keepa was quickly cas'd by a big blow from Dick, a Fenbeast, and the Fairies moved forward. Our riders Big King and Hardest Nuts though both hurt Fenbeasts in return! One regn'd. Big King then leaped in and cas'd carrier Sarah and things looked bad for the fairies. But with great hypno and ball work they got through for a fairy score to their relief.
Big King advanced with the ball but a fireball burst from the stands and the blast flung him and two herders to the ground. Shadow then blitzed the final gobbo in the way but they tumbled down together! His lack of team training was a possible cause and the great chance to steal disappeared. We regained the ball but before reaching the endzone a Leprechaun launched himself at Big King and both went down. As the dust settled the Leprechaun was ko'd while Big King was stunned. No problem though for Stickit up'em to retrieve the ball for the Hellmouths score.
At the second half whistle the crowd swept across the pitch. Fairies were sent scattered. After some manouvering Devil then badly hurt a Fenbeast and it seemed we would take control. But great persistence and amazing shadowing skills by Shadow kept this going till late on until Big King finally leaped away, despite having suffered another knockdown.
Fo the final drive a fumble and a crowd throw ended the Fairy chances but there was still time for a kill on either side. Fun game!”
