I knew it was going to be a tough game, and that casualties were going to be my main concern...
First half the Bengals took a lot of bashing (8 guys out), but an unlucky block from one of the Champion's linemen allowed the hope for a defensive TD. But that didn't happen and I think I made a mistake allowing the TD from Drrek on turn 8 - should have put one of my blitzer in better position and not use SF to force an extra GFI.
Second half, Slanns leaping, a bit of luck and an incompetent wizard allowed for a score in 4 turns. On defense, manage to get the ball back turn 6, went for it turn 7 but a snakes didn't allow it. What Nuffle gives, Nuffle takes away.
Overtime, won the roll off and received. With only 5 players left I went for the 2 turn TD on the side line which paid off thanks to a few leaps.
Very good game, very tense.
