“A rough and tumble game for the characters of Firehurler. We took the opening kick for a nice adventure down the pitch, dodging and weaving a cage back and forth, always pinning it at opposing corners with Guard, to keep the monstrous, ST4/AG5 Leaping witch elf at bay. Despite popping the ball loose, Shine a Light was unable to scamper off with it, and we pulled out a score in T8, with some cas along the way.

Second half, we crushed the dark elves against the sidelines, threatening to surf half their team. Does that stop them? NO! They 1db, dodge several spaces through tackle zones, and generally elf their way through, leaving the slow behind and the quick in possession of the ball. We chased them down and took it back, but never kept it, and Shine scored in T5, giving us 4 to answer back.

In the end, a deep kick forced us to make a simple passing play to lock up a comfy win. Instead, we flub it, and the ensuing 3+/GFI combo for the win the following turn, running out of turns before we can punch the ball in against the remaining 2 dark elves.
