“You know, this game is a lot more enjoyable when you don't play to win, but play to enjoy all of the silly things that happen on the pitch. This was one of those matches where the ball just kept changing hands, and that the outcome of the match was undecided until the last few turns. All matches should be this much fun.”
I thought I was going to be up 1-0 at half-time, and in a good position to win, or at least tie. Then on T7 my ball-carrying Vamp Bloodlusted and was forced to head back into the scrum of players to bite a Thrall. He was then taken down next turn and it was 0-0 at the half.
Then in the second half I went from being in a good position after kicking the ball really short, to being in a bad position as the Necro recovered, and then a good spot again as I was able to knock the ball carrier over. The game kept swinging as each team took their turn.
It wasn't until the end of the second half I was finally able to nab the ball with a Vamp, give him some protection and avoid Bloodlust for long enough to score.
Good fun game, as are most games that involve Vampires! Rematch any time. :-)”
