“Apart from one small brainfart where I blocked the Norse Blodge SS ballcarrier into the endzone instead of blitzing with a Tackled Wardancer I think I played rather well (even if I'm still rather slow with Woodies). Kicked off, pressured the ball, forced a fourth turn TD, then switched around a lot to minimize blocks against me and running the clock to score on turn 8. Repeat the switching around the whole of the second half. (Still thinks it is a mistake in the design of the game to make avoiding to score the best move...)
I was a little worried about the amount of Mighty Blow on the Norse, but their lack of Tackle and our dodges and movement mitigated that quite a lot.
All in all a decent game, not sure if I did anything to annoy Hudson, who dropped the game the second it was over. (Maybe the many 2 min turns, maybe the stalling. Or just that I wasn't terribly chatty? Sitting in bed in a pitch black room where I can't see the keyboard and the laptop is in an awkward position does that...)
Edit: It might have been the fact that I had Nuffle firmly on my side the whole game through?”
