“Four players out after two turns, both wardancers, one PoMb:ed the other one snaked a dodge. Things looked bleak. By turn 5/5 we had a rather interesting pitch - all remaining elves (but one) was surrounding and fouling the main Khemri blitzer midfield while all the remaining Khemri (but two) was surrounding and fouling a Woodie catcher. A trade I was willing to make, unfortunately the Khemri PoMb:er was not to be kicked off the field until far later in the game. The catcher were soon carried off the field.

Turn 6 the Khemri outnumbered us 2:1, held the ball next to the EZ with a lot of bones bearing down on the remaining elfs.

Turn 7 for some reason they scored!

Quick (and quite lucky) 2 turn TD and we were 1-1 and receiving in second half!
Outnumbered we felt forced to score in turn 3/2, and then it was a long gruelling fight trying to keep the Khemri from scoring again - but no such luck!

A game that turned out far less grim than it looked by turn 2/2!
