“When it rains it pours.
That said, even though the entire game was played in the rain, the dice were fairly even and not all that much wackiness occured.
Pygmies dominated the first half after a slight scare at the start when one of my Goblins managed to nab the ball through a hole in the defense. Unfortunately he tripped over one of the Kroxi's tails which allowed WCB Chances to get the ball. They let the ball slip away a couple of times again, but eventually managed to get a firm grip on it and Alomar ran it on t8.
Second half saw the movement impaired Miraz grabbing the ball and holding on to it until he reached the endzone after 6 turns, swerving around like a drunken halfling on a unicycle, carfully avoiding the tails and pygmies which were everywhere. WCB mounted a late offensive, but they let the ball slip again in the rain and the few remaining Squirrels gathered around the ball meaning they needed a miracle.
Which didn't come.
So a draw, which was probably the fairest result and a fun game.
See you again soon!”
