First half, after knocking out one lineman, if Tennessee had any luck it was rarely good, while Texas could do no wrong (even when their coach did), taking out the 'Saw Turn 2, seeing the ball dropped by a failed Dodge midfield Turn 3 (w/ a self-inflicted Stun, natch), and proceeded to take out 4 of the Unvolunteered, owning the pitch so that, despite a string of 5 failed (and uncontested) ball-handling rolls, it was 1-0 at the half with a Turn 8 defensive score, with 2 RR's still unused.
But then the Sweltering Heat turned the tables on the DElfs, who received Turn 9 with only 8 v. 11 on the field, their Witch and 2 more of their better players out. Texas cleverly invited their team to be split in half with both halves out-numbered, then compounded that mistake by miscounti8ng a ball exhange, leaving the ballcarrier largely unsupported midfield, and early their Turn 2 Tennessee had knocked the ball loose on the sidelines. Turn 3 Texas recovered and then lost the ball again, and Turn 4 again recovered and "punted" deep to the Tennessee goal - but not deep enough. An inexplicable Push decision Turn 5 led to Tennessee having the daylight they needed while the Pows rained down on Texas, who had at best only slim chances to stop them after that, all of which failed, uncontested Turn 16 defensive final score, tie game.
Next meeting, the Tennessee lineup, and the Texas coach - should be fully present!”
