“The final of the FUMBBL B Minor LW VII-1 turned out to be a rather exciting game. I decided to add a reroll pregame as I had the extra cash. Stonetroll added 3 merc and 2 bloodbabes. So going into the game I actually fielded less players. However, my players were likely to be much more effective overall once they got an advantage.

Stonetroll almost scored to lead the game due to an early blitz that saw my players out of position. However, I got the ball back and scored on the final turn.

In the second half, I lost my leader on the first turn. I was able to force him to score in 4 turns. I got the ball back and during the possession killed his only threat to injuring my players on a one die block. However, Stonetroll was able to knock the ball loose to send the game to OT up 3 players.

In OT neither team had a reroll. Stonetroll took the kick. I was able to knock most of his players down and was lucky to GFI to his ballcarrier to knock him down in turn 4. I recovered the ball to win the game.

It turned out to be a bashfest with 5 players dead or retiring after the game. Finally a decent game in this tourney!
