“This match report is a long time in coming...

I used to play a lot of BB back in the day but had a 5 year break from the game due to real life commitments so I was a little rusty to say the least.

I don't like the look of Ranked where you can essentially pick and choose who you play, I don't particularly want to get attached to my pixels and I guess BlackBox is the true test of how decent a coach I am.

I had never played against Slann before but they look like such a cool team so couldnt wait to see how they played on the field.

1st Half

I kick to him so fearing mass Leap and my poor Movement, I started with a deep defence. Naturally being Dwarves I didnt expect him to engage my team much so he protected the ball from deep.

Ludovicious was able to use my poor movement against me and switched sides, I managed to pop the ball loose with my Troll Slayer but couldnt secure the ball, Ludovicious quickly snapped up the ball and scampered (hopped!) off with it to the Endzone. My runner made a last ditch block on his catcher and knocked him prone, picking the ball up in the process but was quickly swamped (pardon the pun!) by 3 players but I manage to dodge free and chuck the ball to relative safety at the LOS, killing a Lino in the process.

Ludovicious was able to get the ball back and ran it into the corner and scored

0-1

All KO's came back for the start of the 2nd half.

2nd Half

The ball was kicked on the halfway line which left me vulnerable. I manage to make a cage and try to go down the side. Ludovicious slowed my progress down which forced me to try to advance my cage a bit faster as it wouldnt get there in time for the end of the half and managed to pop the ball free, the ball changed hands again and eventually a Longbeard picked it up, and after the ball was knocked loose again it fell onto a Longbeard who was able to run it in at T8 for the score

1-1

Ludovicious tried to score a 1 turner with a series of chainpushes but didnt get the pushes he needed so it ended up 1-1

All in all it was a fun game and have shaken off the cobwebs. Ludovicious is a very experienced coach and knows what he is at and was a very fun and enjoyable game!
