“Third game of the season and Fulham lined up against the Undead Bury'd. There was quite a difference between the teams, so the undead brought some friends with weapons along, and had bribed the ref in anticipation of any trouble.

Fulham kicked off and quickly moved the ball up the wing, leading to a Johnson score for 1-0 (and one less Weapon on the pitch). The undead started their drive, but Dempsey leaped into action coming away with the ball for 2-0. There was still time for more action as Dempsey once more leapt into action, coming away with the ball but someone failing to score from 1 yard (failed GFI), which led to a quick counter by the Undead leading to a halftime 2-1 scoreline.

The second half saw the Undead attack once more. Hughes must have become upset at some instructions from the bench, as he left the field part way through the drive, only for Fulham to discover he had signed for Bury'd on a free transfer! Dempsey was once more involved in getting the ball back (after taking out Graham Barrow) for 3-1, with Johnson scoring for 4-1 shortly after.

Dempsey did try for his Hat-trick, but pulled up with an injury as he raced up the field. Thankfully he looks to be fit in time for the next match.

So 3 games in and the record is 1/1/1 ... not ideal, but by no means a disaster either.
