“It was not the Whispering Wind's day. After starting off well with a quick TD, the Wind were devastated when Lineman Loranil Summersong was killed by the Rats Snikkit - a Razor Sharp Claw Storm Vermin, and the magic sponge did not do its job.
The Wind repeatedly failed to do any damage to the Rats whereas the Wind seemed to get injured at the slightest touch, though Oakroot Strongroot was able resist a group foul by 5 cheeky Lab Rats.
The game still looked relatively even at the start of the second half, until the Wind made repeated skill errors under little or no pressure and the Rats pulled off some unlikely plays to recover the ball and take the lead.
Things continued to go wrong for the Wind the rest of the afternoon with two players victim of serious injuries and it was a disappointing finish to what originally looked to be a close match as the Wind did not even threaten to draw the game.

One of those days when the dice are against you. Forget the luck rating, it doesn't distinguish between important and not important rolls LOL. I just could not injure the Rats despite knocking them over all day long, but my players kept getting KO'd, stunned or becoming a casualty! Having a death on the very first turn and the apothecary failing summed up the match LOL.”
