“It looked to be an epic throwdown. Two 1800+ teams duking it out in Round One of the FCC.

A Perfect Defense on a Perfect Kick (ball on the LOS) put the Rampage in a tough spot early. But the team knuckled down and went to work. For a couple of turns it was anyone's ball. But Kharnoth took the Kritters primary ball handler out early and the team managed to secure the rock.

Six more KO's later, the drive was assured and the Coach called in 'Red Claw'. He threw his clipboard down in fury as Kharnoth bellowed in anger about not getting to hit squishy goblins. The next turn the coach called in 'Red Claw' again, and this time Kharnoth, with a LOT of assists, blitzed Bobbo, the Kritters massive ST6 Blodge Tackle Troll. BOOM! The perm was so nasty the apo just shook his head.

The second half started out well for the Kritters, quickly going up two players. The Rampage went with a high risk play to pressure the ball. The 1d block skulled but was rr'd to the necessary push, giving Gracknak a lane to provide the critical assist to the Mighty MauMau, who knocked the the ST3 ballcarrier Phfwapp to the ground.

Another scrum ensued but team Rampage managed more players near the ball as the other Kritter Troll, Smarl, was busy looking at some birds. Mighty MauMau scooped up the ball and raced to the endzone. Although the Kritters managed to get a player back to mark him, Gracknak and Degrek Toejam were able to spring him for the Rampage's second score.

And then a most unexpected thing happened. The Kritter coach, BillBrasky (the coach of the legendary WMDs in the Box) CONCEDED the match! WHAA? With NINE available players and three turns to play, Bill CONCEDED a Stunty match?! During a MAJOR TOURNEY? The coach of one of the most destructive and feared box teams, EVER? I'm as perplexed as can be. We've ALL been diced (horrendously) in Stunty. But to CONCEDE? Stunned I am.”
