He recieved and somehow contrived to lose the initiative. A couple of humans left the pitch and i was able to secure ball and steal it away after a reasonable chance down the flank failed.

Second half saw me defending a blitz, defense was ruled out by a very aggressive human assult led by their superb blitzers. Making no inroads i was forced into a charge up the flank and was lucky to see some good cover dodged out from on a 3+ and gfi for 2-0.

Then i got perfect D and despite having the personel to at least slow the charge to three turns, utterly messed it up and humans capitalised well for 2-1 in 2 turns, leaving 2 turns to try for overtime.

Sadly a tight and fun finish was robbed from us bya riot, and the dorfs shamble on. A fun game, fought in good spirits.
