“Fun game in which my bombers outdid themselves. We manaaged to stop their offence thanks to some great bombing and smothering the ball with as many gnomes as we could. Second half saw the Fuel Drinkerz kicking very deep and it took a while to get the ball at the midway line. Then I focussed too much on eliminating the threats first instead of moving up already.

Second to last turn saw the Fuelers blitzing my ball carrier, getting him down (bothdown) and catching the ball on a bounce. I managed to knock the offending player down, but the 5+pass proved to be too much for Slate.

5th match in S.P.L.A.T. for this team. Probably need some more matches to get higher up on the ranking as games like these, while immensly fun (certainly more fun than a 2-0 dicefest), don't contribute all that match. No one got killed or maimed! Well, no one either of us care about. ”
