“Despite a turn 0 niggle skink (rock), I dominate the first half while kicking. The elves get pushed into corners, BH, and KO, KO, KO, KO. I steal, give scaly the ball, and score on turn 8. The elves do remove rookiesaurus, leaving me with 9 vs 11 second half.
I receive, cage, surf, recage. Then I get impatient and try a handoff too soon. fail RR fail. Ball gets fought over for 2 turns. I start sleeping and pick a pow instead of a push, costing me the 3die surf AND blocking off my skink's route to the ball. Elves pass, witch receives, and elves score on turn 15.
I setup for an OTTD. Making a mistake in sequence (and using my RR on the first blitz), I turn a 5+ catch into a 6+ one. Fool. Then I roll the 6, the rest is 3die blocks, and I wind up making the OTTD without having to use sprint.
Crazy game.
*edit Not expecting many takers, I offered quite far down as a desperate attempt to find a match for my liz to prep them just a bit more for the LC. Unexpectedly, birdbanger accepted (saying 'well you had 11 players and only 2 Mb). More unexpectedly, he skipped the wiz in favor of a tackle j-man.”

It felt that every saurus had blodge, stand firm and guard. + some had + ST and diving tackle. Real nightmare as I had no tackle, well if you don't count that merc lineman.
Toughest lizard team I have ever seen.
On the second half the lizards were dominating again, but tried to hand off the ball to saurus. Well it of course failed and my delves stealed the ball and scored, tying the game 1-1.
Lizards finalise the game with that last turn one turner, pushing skink couple squares. 2-1 to lizards. 2nd lost match of Ranked Roques. Need to take some tackle on skill rolls. And maybe more avoid those 11 player super star filled monster teams, until we get some too :)”
