“The Crusaders set up on the field ready for another game of run around; Richard had seen how fast elves could be and tried to prepare for it. Winning the toss he elected to receive. The Eagles set up a defensive cordon and set their two Blitzer’s onto the cage.
Nagablerg Flamephoenix followed Alanisaen Smileslayer into the treatment room to reappear later following some nifty medical work. A melee ensued at the half way line and true to form the elves popped the ball out and saw Richard manage to knock himself down a couple of times (5 skulls 2 failed rr). Saenilani Swordslicer went in at the end of the half for 1-0 lead.
Now it was time for the Eagles to set up for the return and they scored straight away Loreot Mightybane managing to collect up a bobbled pass. 2-0 1 player up and only just started the second half.
What happened next was surprising Richard woke up and hospitalised Nunuhbisn Touchstealer he then slaughtered Segah Sightracer midway through the second half, Alain Martel managed to display how not to throw the ball before getting a pass off to Fr. Alain for him to score. It was now 8 v 10 but very little time left on the clock The Eagles returning. Valen Swift failed to pick up the ball unfortunately for the Crusaders Hugues d'Argentein had not tied his laces properly and fell on his face knocking himself out.
Fr. Alain featured again right at the end getting the ball loose for Fr. Aimery too roll into the end zone to tie the game up all square.
